AiServe SL — Terms of Use

1. What AiServe SL does

AiServe SL ("the Tool") is a free browser-based utility provided by AiRotor Labs Private Limited ("AiRotor", "we", "us"). It reads embedded EXIF and GPS metadata from drone image files you select, converts KML mission files to map geometry, and renders both on an interactive map so you can visually compare captured image locations against planned mission areas.

2. Your files stay on your device

All parsing and rendering happens locally in your web browser using client-side JavaScript. Your image files and KML files are not transmitted to AiRotor servers, are not stored by us, and are not accessible to us at any point. Closing or refreshing the page discards everything the Tool has loaded.

One exception applies, and you should understand it: the map background is served by third-party tile providers (OpenStreetMap and Esri). Displaying a map sends those providers the coordinates of the map area you are viewing, in the ordinary course of loading map tiles. Your images and KML files are never sent to them. Your use of those map layers is also subject to the providers' own terms.

3. Licence to use the Tool

We grant you a free, non-exclusive, revocable licence to use the Tool for personal or commercial purposes, including on client projects. You do not need to pay us, register, or credit us to use it, though attribution is appreciated.

You agree not to:

• resell, sublicense, or present the Tool as your own product;
• copy, decompile, or reverse-engineer the Tool in order to build a competing product;
• use automated means to load the Tool at a volume that degrades it for others;
• use the Tool in violation of any applicable law, including aviation, surveying, mapping, and data protection rules in your jurisdiction.

4. No warranty, and why that matters here

The Tool is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including any warranty of accuracy, merchantability, or fitness for a particular purpose.

This matters more than usual for a mapping tool, so we want to be direct about it. The Tool displays the GPS coordinates recorded by your camera or drone. It does not correct, validate, or independently verify them. Positional accuracy depends entirely on your equipment, its GNSS/RTK configuration, its calibration, and the conditions during capture. Coordinate reference system mismatches, altitude datum differences, and missing or malformed EXIF data can all cause points to appear in the wrong place. A point shown inside a mission boundary is not proof that the area was correctly surveyed.

Do not use the Tool as the sole basis for certifying survey completeness, regulatory compliance, contractual delivery, or any safety-critical decision.It is a visual aid for spotting obvious gaps, not a substitute for professional quality control by a qualified surveyor.

5. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, AiRotor shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, business, or goodwill, arising out of or relating to your use of or inability to use the Tool — whether based in contract, tort, negligence, or any other legal theory, and even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Because the Tool is provided free of charge, our total aggregate liability to you for all claims relating to the Tool is limited to INR 1,000 (one thousand Indian Rupees). Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

6. Your responsibilities

You are solely responsible for the data you load into the Tool and for ensuring you have the right to process it. If your imagery covers third-party property, restricted airspace, defence installations, or personal data, you are responsible for holding the necessary permissions and for complying with DGCA regulations and any applicable privacy law. We have no visibility into your data and therefore cannot and do not screen it.

7. Availability and changes

The Tool is offered free of charge with no guarantee of uptime, continuity, or support. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue it, in whole or in part, at any time and without notice. We may also update these terms; material changes will be reflected in the "last updated" date above, and continued use after that constitutes acceptance.

8. Intellectual property

The Tool, its interface, and the AiRotor and AiServe names and marks remain our property. You retain all rights in your own images, KML files, and survey data — using the Tool grants us no rights in them whatsoever.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at Ahmedabad, Gujarat shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
